I cry in sin-filled evenings
Silent walls that wipe my eyes
To those beautiful horses galloping
Grim reaper throws lasso.
Man touching woman's cheek
Not red, but shame
They dress him in a collarless shirt
On that day, the eyes are sewn, and they turn yellow.
Then the rhyming lines appear
He always plays "Miserables" when the full moon goes down
Enchanted lovers hanging out on a caravan
The dead come out of this world door.
Semsettin OZKAN (1996 / KONYA)
Beautiful horses in the poem represent the horny ego of man.
A woman is a soul for the unknown and a breath for the knowing.
